د.عزالدين شكري فشير، كاتب مصري. رشحت اثنتان من رواياته لجائزة البوكر العربية، وله العديد من المقالات حول الأوضاع السياسية والاجتماعية في مصر والعالم العربي، ويدرس العلوم السياسية بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة منذ 2007، حيث كان قبلها يعمل كدبلوماسي بالخارجية المصرية وبمنظمة الأمم المتحدة. وهو متزوج وأب لثلاثة.
Ezzedine Choukri Fishere is an Egyptian writer. Two of his novels were nominated for the Arabic Booker Prize. He writes and speaks extensively about socio-political conditions in Egypt and the Middle East, and teaches at the American University in Cairo since 2007. Previously, he worked as an Egyptian and UN diplomat. Fishere is married and has three children.
